Official Sitrep: Operation Dyandra

The operation was initiated to connect Batam, Ujung Genteng, Jepara, East Yogyakarta & Malang to score MU for Indonesia.  A good operation to walk into 2015. Target checkpoint is at CP#13 (17.00) (GMT +7), 10 Jan 2014.

December 18th, 2014, The idea begins from small talk between @naujju, @Tjoe, and @abevot regarding Portal Keys of Batam. From those discussion,@abevot came up with field plan utilizing portals at Batam, Jepara, and Malang as field anchors.

The Operation divided into 4 main region, Batam by @Grounde and @Tjoe, West Java by @naujju, East Java by @abevot, and then Central Java by @Aikawa7 who joined the operator team later.

The operators agree to set the operation not entirely MU or score oriented, but instead a fun project to collaborate and meet new friends from across country. It doesn’t matter if it make it to target CP or not, as long as we can have fun together. So the operators start inviting verified agents who willing to help voluntarily.

December 19th, 2014, The team start assemble field agents. We first start looking for COMM Center, who can do good intel overwatch and giving command clearly during ops. So we start contacting @zaons. Having contacted by @Aikawa7 before, he gratefully accept the offer and joined the operator team.@naujju, privately, start contacting fellow agents across West Java who can and willing to help.@Aikawa did the same for Central Java and Yogyakarta, and @abevot for East Java.

After the plan has fixed, we agree to set up the execution date at January 10th, 2015. Little effort was given to set the ops name. So @naujju came up with ops name #Dyandra , taken from the name of barista lady who work in his favorite cafe near Jakarta Kota Station. Dyandra itself means Just and Pure.

December 20th, 2014 – January 8th, 2014
Lots of key exchange happened. Operators began collecting Keys, distributing to linkers, and brief the agents across cities. Meanwhile, intel start the overwatch, keep monitoring situation and list crosslink along link paths. Late December, a word came from @abevot saying that @AkasAsri from Lumajang has willing to help the ops spread wider to Sumenep and Banyuwangi. Operation Dyandra suddenly became an Ops to cover the entire Java!

However, Operation Dyandra was not without problem. Everyday, Intel observe lots of crosslink come and go during these time. Dense portal area like Tegal, Madiun, and Kediri is a big challenge. Multiple ad hoc clearing team dispatched, mostly are passing by agents on holiday trip, who kindly accept our request to destroy crosslinks along their way. Near the execution date,@Aikawa7 came up with surprise report that Yogyakarta’s anchor was moved from its original position, forcing us to cancel and modify our layer plan.

But that’s not the worst. On December 27th, A green megafield stretched between Pandeglang – Jambi – Sekadau, West Kalimantan, gave the most trouble for us. Batam was completely separated from Java Island. Almost losing hope, we plan to move north anchor from Batam to somewhere in the south to proceed the operation. Another key exchange arranged. Until heroically,@pras006 lend a hand to clean up Jambi.@Grounde then set up multiple guide link from Batam to prevent another crosslink. The original plan continued.

January 9th, 2014, Utilizing existing link from Jakarta to Sagatta, East Kalimantan, and a matching Batam Keys from the two side, we decided to commence Pre-Ops field to test the water, scheduled for CP#9 (21.00) (GMT +7). It is executed by @Rodzky and @djuvanca from Jakarta and @KaptenKidd from Sagatta, with help from @aryaruby who destroyed last crosslink between Pandeglang – Sekadau. Unfortunately, it failed to meet target CP due to miscommunication about Batam anchor. The field was up after target CP but taken down half hour after field up by unknown ENL,@IronMark42. Soon, a long green links observed from Tarakan to Serang by @AzuPalakin69 and @AdemBener.

January 10th, 2014, Clearing and Linking team dispatched at noon. Meanwhile, Ujung Genteng team who arrived night before, already standby at linking post. 2 hour to checkpoint, all crosslink was under control. Until an Enlightened Agent in Boyolali alerted by our movement and start making new crosslink 1 hour before target CP. However, a team quickly dispatched to handle the crosslink and soon followed by initial link that lock the map, 15 minutes before Checkpoint. Layering phase started simultaneously, netting around 371 million mind units across Pangkal Pinang and Java Island. (see detailed situation report of D-Day at https://plus.google.com/105826828967616368934/posts/UDe6nxSzsLy).

At last, Operation Dyandra was successfully executed. We capture big MU, but most importantly, we capture bigger fun and happiness playing and collaborating with lots of friends 🙂
