Complete Sitrep: Operation #Nusa01
tl,dr: Indonesia Resistance execute 32 layer field worth 440 MMU across the country to celebrate #MayDay
Indonesia is an archipelago comprising 17,508 of islands, scattered over both sides of the equator. With an estimated total population of over 252 million people, Indonesia is the world’s fourth-most-populous country.
Playing Ingress in this large archipelago is quite challenging. Imagine the need to distribute keys across the islands and have 8 level 8 players in rural area, plus four link amp (Praise be the glory of the Link Amp, for He Extends!), just to link from one island to another.
Therefore, when one of our fellow resistance brother from Manado, +Muhammad Yasin Katara, asked us “When we, Resistance Agents from Sulawesi, will be invited to join large scale ops?” we really think hard. Similar question also coming to our community from Resistance Minangkabau, Padang.
One year passed since that questions, and we intend to fulfill our promises. Many portals has been submitted and accepted to help our agents in rural area to level up and recruit. Chain of key distribution is established, one agent to another. We finally have enough resources to make the plan into realization.
In April 20th, Agent +Andi Brata (@Abevot) suggest to execute this nation wide ops at #MayDay (May 1st) as well as a tribute for International Workers Day. An initial hangout then established with representation of each area, including +Peri Petro (@PeriPetro) from Padang, +riry bolang (@Str1derr)& +Arya Z.P (@blackhobbits) from Makassar, +IAN CLOYD (@leaxs)& +Willy Posumah (@McWillem) from Bali, +Jose Andrea (@AkasAsri), +Andi Brata (@Abevot),& +Wan Chung (@danchuu) from East Java, +Gregorius Gunadi Setya Nugraha (@DrawRanger) from Yogyakarta, +radith vw (@cumisaurus) form Central Java, +Juan Carlos (@naujju)& +Sensa VM (@norul3freeeee) from West Java, and +Handriawan Saputra (@StarScreamZ) from Jakarta. Initial field plan is quickly devised, involving 6 major Islands in Indonesia. Anchor set chosen at Padang, Cilegon, Cilacap, Jepara, Malang, Sampang, Sagatta, Singaraja, Toraja, and Kupang. What was initially planned as 4 series of layer fields grown into 7 series of complex-larger-thicker-layer fields! We name this Operation #Nusa01 . Nusa is taken from Nusantara, from Pararaton manuscript, meaning “outer islands” (from Old Javanese nusa, “island” and antara, “within”). While 01 represent the beginning of many more Resistance field operation across Nusantara.
In the next four days, we start inviting ground agent for clearing. About 130 agents volunteer to participate from various area on every island. Some are veteran from our previous operation, #Dyandra and #BlauMitte . Many others are new players in our community. Everyone assigned to each cross links and linking position.
A layered green megafield was stretched in the north Java island before the operation.@LordKyung who is on his trip to Mataram gladly take the responsibility to destroy one of its anchor in Bima. Meanwhile,@StarscreamZ took the secret task to cross to Pramuka Island and Jarvis a blue cross link to Pontianak, and @Zulfie assigned to destroy Al Haromain Hall, the notorious ENL link hub in Tegal.
May 1st, about 4am, a new green link was established by unidentified ENL account @HidayahTuhan, from Karimunjawa Island to Pulau Tidung Island.@naujju with help from @ROELWISH immediately seeking help from Jakarta Resistance to handle those new cross link. We so fortunate that @icenethoe stepping up, answering our call to cross to Tidung Island and destroy the links. Both @icenethoe and @StarScreamZ bravely taking the risk of being stranded for a day due to no returning ship back to Jakarta.
All cleaner and fielder dispatched at noon.@LordKyung at Bima kill the green megafield earlier, immediately followed by set of blockers from Singaraja and Parepare. Near the checkpoint time at 6 pm, Cleaner Agents is ready at each position. All linkers standby at each anchor, ready to upgrade and install link amp (Praise be the glory of the Link Amp, for He Extends!). With one command, all blockers destroyed at the same time. Initial link established to secure lane. However, few new blockers was up just in time in Malang and Yogyakarta.@panglimakumbang immediately close his intel laptop and went chasing the blockers in Malang, while @keenanPxxz10 chasing the green cross link in Yogyakarta. Both were destroyed in less than 15 minutes. Layer sequence commenced in Padang, Cilegon, Cilacap, Jepara, Sampang, and Toraja, netting about 440 million Mind Units of 32 layer fields in total! All agent jump in happiness, Operation #Nusa01 Success!
But the story does not end there. In this ops, every linker team understand that the operation does not specifically intended to gain illuminator badge. However, when Malang anchors was jarvised by well known-unidentified ENL account,@SheraV and @HollyKids, few minutes after checkpoint, we kind of feel mixed between disappointed and happy. Why Happy? Because we have opportunity to rebuild the field and gave the chance to several agents to gain their Onyx Illuminator Badge! 188 million mind units rebuilt after checkpoint. 11 Agents get their new Onyx Illuminator badge, including @MrsBelukar, @BadrunBelukar, @EXO0, @dikedo, @PuinBage, @Chatzy, @basangserigala, @araAK411, @Ayu08, @bangsawancicak and @ekky.
